
ENROLL IN YOUR 2022 BENEFITS
Annual Enrollment begins Tuesday, November 9, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, November 24.
To enroll, click here or go to MyHEARST and select My Benefits & Resources under the Benefits & Pay tab. Select the box indicating you have items to complete.
If you have any questions, call the Hearst Benefits Service Center at 855-827-0372, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.
If you do not enroll in benefits, you will remain in your current coverage at 2021 rates, except for any Flexible Spending or Health Savings Accounts you may be enrolled in, which you must enroll in annually. If you wish to contribute to an FSA or HSA in 2022, you must enroll in benefits by November 24. The Healthcare FSA will increase to the IRS annual maximum contribution of $2,850. Any unused Healthcare FSA funds from 2021 will automatically carry over to your 2022 FSA if you enroll for an FSA in 2022. You may use your carry over funds for eligible 2022 expenses. The HSA will increase to the IRS annual maximum contributions of $3,650 for individual coverage or $7,300 for family coverage, including Hearst’s contribution, if applicable. You can change your HSA election at any time during the year.
Unless you have a qualifying change in status, such as a marriage, divorce or birth of a child, your next opportunity to change or enroll in benefits will be during Annual Enrollment in the fall of 2022 for coverage in 2023.
